no I have a leveling kit that is new still in the FedEx box (not installed yet) the leveling kit has 3.5 in coil spacers and 3 in blocks for the rear. I have not done anything to the truck yet. I'm asking after I install the leveling kit will it have enough clearance for the new rims and tires I have.

I think you mean "yes" that you DO have 3" blocks in a box. And, you still want to add those blocks to the existing blocks on your truck. And, you also want to know if that will be able to clear 35's.

Read the last quote in your post closely. He said he has 3" blocks to put in the back, and 3.5" pucks for the front, brand new still in the shipping box.

Okay, what am I missing? I'm talking only about the rear blocks right now. There are 3" stock blocks in there and he wants to add 3" more (which are still in the box).

Right, none additional. But, unless the springs are sitting right on the axle, there are, what appears to be, blocks in there. A lot of people mistake them for a "lift." I thought you mistook them also. If I insulted you, I am sorry.

Wow, reading through this thread quickly makes one feel like a real "block" head. Almost like Abbot and Castello "Who's on first?"

To answer your question: NO, you're truck does not have a lift and definitely not an ORE. It is completely stock just sitting on 285s. No problem, as they clear those without lift or level. If you have a 3.5" coil spacers kit in the box, I would return it. That is too much to just level. The most a level was ever made was 2.5" as the 3" was unofficially the "lift" height requiring longer control arms and adjustable track bar. Most owners in the day put on a 2" level puck.

As for the rear, yes blocks are factory. They have the wing sticking out for the bump stop. Anything stacked on is aftermarket and is not recommended. It is better to add a leaf or change leaf packs. There is no "level" kit that would include 3" blocks in the rear. Go ahead and install both sets and you'll see that you have one heck of a rake to it.

I would return everything and put either new 3" coils up front with an AAL in the rear (which should have CAs and new track bar) to safely run large 33s, or just stick the 2" pucks up front. If you have the 2k rear spring pack with 4 leaves, it should look fine. I had the 3 leaf pack so I added one with 3" coils, CAs, and Thuren bar.

If you want to really run 35s, get a complete 5" kit. They are very spendy. But it will be correct. Also I suggest doing some research into old threads as this was beat to death in the day so there should be lots of helpful info out there already.

My reading comprehension must have been way out there yesterday unless you edited your thread while I was typing. Either way, sorry
