Audio Problem
So ran into an issue today. I have a 1999 dodge ram 1500 with what appears to be the infinity sound system (I have the little mini amps or whatever behind my stock speakers.) The new speakers i got do not support the mini amps, and worked fine without them being on. So my friend, noticing how they hang on the inside of the door, they rattle, ect just hanging loose, decides to cut it. This, in turn, cuts power to all of my other speakers. My radio still works, displays time, ect, just no sound from any speakers. Blown fuse? Any suggestions on what needs done?
It would of been all of the ones connecting the amp. They were cut very close to the amp as well. Then you just heard all the speakers fade. I had already checked fuse 13, radio, and it was fine. But ill check #4
I was looking at the standard wiring, and I see left and right tweeters along with the other regular speakers, but that's all.
The Base version has 4 speakers, and the Premium has 6, including the 2 tweeters.
Are you saying that all the speaker wires have been cut and your new speakers wired in?

Anybody just cutting a bunch of wires without knowing exactly what they're for is asking for trouble.
Take a look at this thread... it might help.
