problems with vents

Default problems with vents

i have another problem with my truck. well when i turn the heat or ac on it only blows through the driver side windshield and side vent and barely blows through the passenger side and when i switch it to the front dash vents it dont come out but continues to blow through the driver side windshield vents

Search "wild vents". That may be a contributing cause.

i dont think thats the issue at all this issue occurs either the truck is moving or not

Are the vents not switching at all? That's a vacuum problem. need to check the lines on the passenger side of the intake, and make sure something ain't broke.

yeah vents dont switch and the driver side defrosters are the only ones that work

and i did check those lines on passenger side they seem fine

Then you need to check and see if you are getting vacuum to the control head.....

Yes. That. My point in mentioning the wild vents thing was its 9 times out of 10 a vacuum related issue.

That's the part in the dash with the ***** on it. All the vents are controlled by vacuum, temp is controlled by a little motor under the heater box. Need to verify you are getting vacuum TO the control head, else, nothing is gonna work.
