Agreed....just replaced a pair on my Dakota...rock auto has them fairly inexpensive. Be sure if replacing the hoses to replace the copper crush washers too....my understanding theyre only really good for one tightening unless you torch them back to life.
I have never had an aftermarket caliper fail. Not once. I can't even count the number of them I have installed...... Generally, if it survives the bleeding procedure, without blowing fluid everywhere, it'll last a good long time.
$15? That's impressive. Then again, I forget some of you guys live in the rust belt and deal with loads of corrosion. I don't have that problem, hence one reason I don't miss living up there.
