Default Where to find Outer Window Seals

Hi All,

Any idea where to find Outer Window Seals on the net? The only place I can find them is LMCTruck and they are $30 each. Mine are rusting and scratching the windows so I wanted to replace them both.

http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/de/full.aspx?Page=19

Thanks!
Patrick

You won't find it any cheaper elsewhere, I don't believe. The factory part numbers, if you don't have 'em and want to STFW for 'em, are:

  • 55275504AA Right, outer
  • 55275505AA Left, outer
  • 55275505AA Inner, both (2 req'd, one per door)
The factory pieces are available for about the LMC price at http://www.moparcjdrparts.com/ and probably others, too -- that's the first one I found that wasn't overpriced.

Are those the flat metal (mine are black) things along the top of the door? Men are rusting too but I wasn't sure what they were called.

Thanks! Bummer they seem kinda pricey, maybe I will run to the junk yard and see if there are any in decent shape. Thanks for the fast response!

The ones I was looking for are at the bottom of the window between the window and they body. The outer ones of mine are rusting and crumbling as well.

On that same LMC page, look at item 3. It has inner and outer for both doors for $49.95.

Not to hijack your thread, but...

How hard are those outers to replace, just pop out?

Roll down the window and pop them out. LMC ones are nice, I've had them for a few years and still look new. $30 / side is very reasonable. I have found and re-sold near new looking ones at the JY in the past however most are in bad shape.
