It's the same code for both sensors. Unfortunately. They don't have individual codes.... Seems to me, it would have been easy to do..... and would certainly make troubleshooting easier.

I had several problem with bad coils.
Try changing out your ignition coil. Maybe put your old one in.
Just a thought, easy to verify

Well this morning we went back to the auto parts store we deal with cause they said they had another cam and crank sensor to try so we put them in and still nothing. Checked the wires from the sensors to the pcm and they were good so while I had the connectors off the pcm I tried the spare pcm I had. started right up! I think that one of the sensors they gave me yesterday was bad that's why when I tried the spare computer yesterday it didn't work. Sent my pcm in to get rebuilt or whatever they do but that will take a week. The pcm controls the timing so I guess it was firing at the wrong time. Well at least that's what it sounded like.

I really appreciate all the help. I was pulling my hair out!

I was also wondering why these crank sensors are such a pain to find. almost feel like I should order one just to have it on hand

I don't think they use that style any more, and the last second gen rolled off the assembly line 15 years ago...... Most carmakers only stock parts for about 10 years.... if that.

The parts store i got it from had 2 in stock.. I did try another one from an older truck and the plug had a slightly different tab in it. Same wires though. It would have prob worked if i filed off the little plastic tab. Mine is a 2002 and i dont know what year the other one was
