There are five others..... So, either leave it..... Take it somewhere that can weld aluminum, or, replace the trans.....

Doesn't look like there is much clearance between the engine, and drive plate there either..... unless your bolts are REALLY thin..... That's gonna be trouble.

How would leaving it effect the tranny/motor? I use this truck for hunting (lots of back roading/hauling). Would this cause weakness and possibly more issues?

And thank you, I am always coming to this site to find info on my truck, first time I have had to post though.

Sure, it won't be quite as strong, but, as I said, there are five others.... and should be two pins as well. You would have to be REALLY abusing it to have it cause trouble.

If it really concerns you, find some place that can weld aluminum, and have them do it up for you. Shouldn't be all that expensive.... (prolly less than a hundred bucks, certainly cheaper than replacing the trans. )
