Default 1998 Ram 2500 Transmission slipping

My transmission is slipping when i get about 40 MPH, has anyone ever had this happen to them, its like its slipping in and out of 2nd and 3rd gear. i changed the fluid when i changed the oil a few months ago, i have checked the level of the fluid and its good. Any help or ideas would be very thankful. Cant afford for this to happen right now.

Thanks, Scott

Check fluid level in neutral. Checking in park will give you an artificially high reading.

How many miles on the trans?

PROBLEM SOLVED!
So I cleaned all the grounds and actually added one from battery to firewall. Disconnected battery for a couple hours. Programmed TPS. Replaced Transmission Speed Sensor and swapped 1 qt ATF 4 with Hydraulic Fluid. Now she's shifting like a champ! Firm shifts all the way to OD. Thank You all so much for all the input!
