Default Weak AC..

So I have a couple of different questions here...

1. My AC doesn't throw a whole lot of air even on high, could this be a result of a really old evaporator core? Truck has right at 200k

2. My heater core is bad and I need to replace it. My dash is also pretty messed up...

Is it possible to get the heater core out and replaced with the dash in place if there is enough of it broken?

LOLOL. Advantages of a broken dash?

If you pull the heater box to change stuff out, it gives you the added option of also cleaning out the assorted crap that tends to accumulate in there. Yeah, its more work, but, the end result is better.

Check pressures on your a/c, might just need a bit of a recharge. If you pull the heater box, chances are good you are going to have to evacuate/recharge the system in any event.

Does it not pump a lot of cold air, or any air at all? My A/C at full blast would pump a lot of air, but it was really hot until I used a couple cans to recharge the system.
