I have a 1997 1500 4x4 and my spring perches are rotted out,I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction. I want to use the hole for the shock on the bottom and the holes for the coilspring on top and just use a coilover strut type setup is that possible?

 

Front axle? Might be easier/cheaper to just replace it.... or, talk to a fab shop, and see if they can't fix 'em.... I doubt there are available replacement parts......
