Default Symptoms of loose transmission bands

I hate to ask a bunch of questions but I was wondering what symptoms loose bands in the transmission cause. Any info will be appreciated

Slow engagement of gears, possible slipping if they are really loose.

Thanks for the help I thought my truck was the only one. The main problem I have is it want hold speed in o/d going up hills when it's cold but once you drive it 8 miles or so it really starts acting better. I wish it would down shift to 4tcunlocked like you said in your post sometimes if I hold my foot just right starting up the highway I can hold that until I reach the top of a big hill. But one the tclocks it constantly wants to drop back to 3rd
