Exclamation 46RE transmission 2nd gear problems

. I got a 97 2500HD, 4x4, 5.9L V8, 46RE, standard cab 8ft box. Love this truck, more than life itself and i hate having problems but that comes with anything. But something new is happening and didnt happen gradually. One day it didnt, next drive it did. Truck had transmission rebuild at roughly 75k, currently has 102k (planning on fluid+filter change anyway). Truck shifts into drive fine, slight clunk, but goes, now it goes into second at a higher rpm than before, now in 2nd, i need roughly 45-50mph and basically 3krpm for it to shift into 3rd. 3rd gear on is fine, shifts fine. Now if im in 4th or in overdrive and slow down to under 50mph, truck slams into 2nd and throws you forward in the seat, doesn't matter downhill, flat, or uphill, once i get below 50, it grabs 2nd gear. This is really getting on my nerves and worrying me. Does anybody have any clue as to why my truck may be doing this? Any help is appreciated and welcomed.. update: fluid and filter changed, new pan put on with drain plug, throttle valve cable adjusted. Still does the same thing and has been for about a month now, pisses me off to drive it like that. Anybody have any ideas?

Take it back to the shop, tell them what it's doing.Band adjustment most likely concidering rebuild at 75k.Not serious yet but could be if not taking care of soon.Just a thought..........

And after dropping the pan and changing filter, how much fluid needs to be back in?

Start with four. Have six on hand.

Bear in mind, you MUST check fluid level in neutral, engine running. Otherwise, you get an artificially high reading.

Took all 6, fluid is up to snuff. Old fluid was was almost black but some red in it, filter needed to go. Now my baby shifts into 3rd at 45mph if feathering it. But if im doing any speed and i take the OD out while in OD, truck shifts to 4th for a millisecond than slams in 2nd
