Default No dash backlights.

Last night when I went to get into my truck I noticed I don't have my dash back light, my cup holder lights, or my ashtray lights. My dash works like it should and I have all my other lights just not the backlight. Everything worked fine prior to last night

Cluster illumination comes from the battery, thru Fuse 1, in the block on the side of the dash, to the headlamp switch, then thru fuse 5.... (no clue why.....)

Could try rotating the headlamp switch, just to see if you didn't inadvertently turn them off.

Rheostats don't work well when they get dirty.

you hit the nail on the head. I hadn't even noticed the two larger fuses in the side dash. I blew the 20 a fuse
