Default New radiator-only 2 gallons?!?😡😳

Gents-

It's been a while. Hope all is well.

I replaced radiator today and went to refill coolant. My local auto parts said my capacity was 6 gallons. I didn't barely get 2 gallons in, test ride, parked in incline to burp-still won't take anymore.
Did I miss something??!

It came to temp fine, never ran hot.....?

Thanks in advance

I'd say 2 gallons is about right.

I think total capacity is only around 3 gallons, and quite a bit stays in the motor, lines, heater core, etc, when you dump the radiator. 2 gallons is good.
