Default Same problem any solutions?

My dad has a 1996 dodge b3500 5.9l with a bad ECM. We're having problems finding a reputable seller to buy one from. Any tips?? Van been down a few weeks now it's our money maker really need some help here. Cardone parts couldn't be bought from local auto stores. Seeing lots of bad reviews from people like carcomputerexchange and flash masters. Bad situation, and solutions known out there? Any advice is super appreciated

Since the older PCMs are basically plug and play (no VIN changes required), I've had good luck finding them via car-part.com. I look for a lower mileage vehicle and make sure that the part number on the original PCM matches the one from the salvage yard.
