Default vibration when braking not caused by rotors

Hi All, I have a 2001 2500 Ram diesel. Currently it has a major vibration when hitting the brakes. I assumed it was rotors and replaced them but it still vibrates. had old rotors recut and reinstalled to make sure I didn't get a bad rotor. I still vibrates. All front end components are new including track bar. I'm at wits end to find the problem, any input would be appreciated.

How about the wheel bearings? Those been replaced? Have the brake hoses going to the calipers ever been replaced? If the calipers aren't properly releasing, might possibly cause that issue.

Assuming you have a 2001.5 with four wheel disc? If early 2001, you have drums in the back and they of course can warp also.

Describe the vibration: wobble, shake, buzz, fast, slow, in steering, in floorboard, etc.

The vibration seems more like its in the floor, it's a wobble that seems to be in one spot in the revolution of the wheel, it seems like a warped rotor, but I proved it wasn't rotors by changing them, having old ones recut and reinstalling them and the vibration remains the same. This is getting frustrating.

The vibration seems more like in the floor than anything else,it's more like a wobble and only happens when brake is applied, like I said I thought it was a rotor, but I proved it wasn't by changing them twice, I also changed the wheel bearings recently with cheap Chinese ones. The vibration seems like its only in one spot in the rotation on the wheel. Its getting frustrating.

imo if it only happens during braking, its probably brake related.

front rotor runout transfers into the steering wheel
rear brake rotor or drum runout transfers into the brake pedal and floor

Is this something that came on gradually and is getting worse?

When you hit the brakes you're loading the front tire, thereby exposing a bad or out of balance tire. I've gotten rid of the vibe by getting mine re-balanced before.

I had a vibe that acted like warped rotors and only happened during braking.

Had two shops tell me it was brakes. I didn't believe them. Guess what it was?

Drive shaft u-joints.

I had recently put on new tires and they were slightly smaller than the old set which put the shaft at different angle, allowing the worn out ujoints to show a symptom.
