Default Hazards randomly blinking?

I have recently replaced my battery along with new terminals in my 98 ram 1500 and since then, my hazards have been randomly flashing for 30 seconds when parked, driving, or opening my door. I cannot find any threads or posts to this problem and it is getting extremely annoying while driving or parking. Does anybody have an answer to this?

Tilt steering wheel? Tilt it down, see if it stops misbehaving (or starts).

Just out of curiosity, do you have an alarm in your truck?

Yeah I believe so. There's also a ticking, maybe coming from a relay under the steering wheel when the hazards do go off

If possible, take a look behind the knee panel underneath the steering wheel (and anywhere else under the dash), look for a black box with a bunch of wires coming out of it. That should tell you if it has/had an alarm. If you find that, unplug the wire harness from it. I assume that since you can start it and everything else works normally, that it's been mostly bypassed at some point. Start looking where you hear that clicking.
