Getting codes 1693,1694 on my '01 Ram 2500 Cummins.

Just had a new rebuilt transmission installed about 4,000 miles ago.
Last time I drove it 3-4 weeks ago it was fine.

Any thoughts?

 

P1693 DTC Detected in Companion JTEC Mod
P1694 No BUS Message Received from ECM Mod

1693 is just a companion code. It's the 1694 code that seems to be the "actual" problem. Is everything in your instrument cluster working?

 

As far as I know,yes

 

Clear the codes, and see if they come back then. They probably won't.

Disconnect the battery for 10 minutes or so.

Drove it for 30 minutes after and no CE light.
