Default Ram Off Road 4 Wheel ABS?

Hey guys,

I know the off road group on the 2nd gens made the truck rear wheel abs only (something about off road drivers not liking front wheel abs). I however, would very much like front wheel abs so I was thinking of changing it.

Does anyone know if this change was just done with the module? Can I swap in a standard abs module and get 4 wheel or are there more substantial changes that must be made?

Thanks and happy holidays.

Need the module, and requisite brake lines, and I also think there needs to be programming for the PCM as well..... Not to mention front wheel speed sensors...

Best thing is to find a donor truck. There is a seperate abs module and pump for the 4whl abs. I doubt there is anything in the PCM since the speed signal routes first through the abs then to the PCM and cluster also the ABS is a stand alone module. If you ever went wheelin' you'd know why abs on the front sucks. Pretty much will let you free roll down steep slippery stuff.
