Its certainly not unheard of to receive a new set of (insert item here) and one of them be faulty or not up to spec, or even single new items that are "new" but don't function properly. In the automotive industry Im afraid its actually more common than you would imagine too haha

Is there no power, or is the PCM just not firing it?

Are you getting power to that injector? They all get power from the same source, it just kinda branches off somewhere in the harness. Keep in mind, you will only see power there for about three seconds at key on, unless the PCM sees the engine turning.

Default yes..

Plugged noid light to injector harness then started truck. 2thru 8 alll lit up well indicating i am getting the right voltage there... Number 1 has no light when testing..
I went and unplugged 1 at a time while running 1.2.4.6 injectors had no difference in engine idling. But 3.5.7.8 injector when diaconnected the truck begins to run awful..

How many miles on the truck?

If you have four cylinders that disabling them doesn't make a noticeable difference.... you really have some issues.

Time for a compression and leakdown test.
