v6 to v8 swap problem

Default v6 to v8 swap problem
well a v6 pcm from a 1995 1500 5 speed work for a 5.2 from 2001, the harness is from a 1995 with all 2001 connection solderd togather or should i get a v8 ecu

You will need the correct engine size (and transmission) PCM.

Not to mention, the correct year for whatever truck you are installing it in.... 95 harness will NOT work in an 01. They aren't even remotely similar. Engine side connections are, but, PCM side isn't even close.
