Need Help with Wire Routing!
I've recently scrapped the inifinity system in my truck and installed a whole new system and subs, running on a 5 channel amp. The only problem I have run into is routing the wires for the speakers in the door. (Ran all new wires because theyre all wired to the amp! and because stock system was the infinity) The rubber grommet that connects the door to the cab isnt just a straight through one with wires that run through it, it has a quick-disconnect type harness at the cab side, so trying to run wires through it would be impossible as far as I'm aware.
Anyone have any experience or ideas for a workaround so I can get my speakers connected!? ALL insight or ideas will be super helpful!!

So thats why the PO on my truck used the stock wires to the door speakers... I thought he was being lazy...
Wish I could help more on this. I haven't tackled new wiring to the doors yet. So I'm assuming you can't reuse the quick disconnect with your wires instead?

Ok, post edited. Here is the correct wiring with infinity system.

I have considered that a possibility, just snipping the dead wires that would've been the stock speaker in the cab, and using it as the in and out for speakers through that harness. Its just finding the right wires on the infinity speakers harness since there's like 8 of them because they piggybacked the amps onto the doors speakers. But I also need to find a way through the door also for the automatic door lock wires that connect to my remote start/alarm/ keyless. Its just a small 3 pin with wires on it, but it needs to come in from the drivers door to under the steering area above pedals.
I have a full detailed guide for all the wiring for my truck, and im certainly no slouch with solder and wire tracing haha, just wondered if there would be any easier alternatives to having to get on my back again and snip wires under the dash haha

If I can wire a Viper 5806V for this baby, and that 5 channel amp, I think this should be a walk in the park compared to that haha, also if you ever solder and need some decent stuff, I can definitely recommend Cardas Quad, its been a pleasure to work with vs some others Ive used.
Thanks for the tip on the solder! I just purchased a Weller gun, a helping hand with magnifying glass, and some flux. I have a ton of solder still so next time I buy some I will go that route.

I have the solution done, and pictures to be coming later. I'll let you know what I did!!
Addendum: Just spent 13 hours straight doing wiring and putting the cab back in order to clear floor space in my room. I have a long school day and test tomorrow, so if I dont get to uploading pics/details about how I defeated this obstacle, I'll be sure to get it done this weekend at the latest, so youre not waiting forever on me!

Enjoy!
I have an 03 Dakota quad cab, and recently both the right door speakers quit working. Thought it was the infinity amp quit. My truck doesn't have an amp ! Tried tracing wires for broken connection. Wires run inside medal tube along left door sill, then crosses under drivers seat to passenger side. Is there another connector somewhere under the seats / carpet / console ? New seats & carpet a couple years ago, I've already removed most of my dash tracing wires. HEEELLLPPP ! !
