Default Torque converter replacement price

I was wondering if any of y'all have ideas on what it might cost to have a new torque converter installed in my 1995 Dodge ram 1500 4x4?

North of 200 bucks. Sure, you can get a cheap one.... but, then you get exactly that. A cheap one. Considering the difficulty of changing it, and the importance of its function to your vehicle..... Getting a GOOD one right out of the gate is the best plan.

Of course, the next question becomes: Why are you replacing it? If it has failed, then it has likely distributed a load of crap throughout the trans, and the new one is going to get a bunch of that, which will lead to premature failure..... If you need to replace the TC, best to rebuild the trans as well. Yeah. Not cheap.....
