Default Whooshing noise slow sharp turns ram 1500

1997 ram 1500 5.2 v8 magnum. When I make a slow sharp turn cranked all the way left or right, like parking lots. There is a whooshing squeaking noise with each rotation, if I take wider turns I don't hear the noise. I've read many many threads about this from different vehicles but can't find something like what is going on here. Heard it could be warped rotors, guy sold me truck said ujoints need doing but it didn't make the noise the first 1000 miles I had it.

Is it just one tire sliding on the pavement?

After searching a bit more it's 99% sure it's bad u joints. This is probably something I should take to a shop to do I'm guessing.

Depends. Got a warm place to work? Basic hand tools? Big hammer? It's tedious, but doable. But, if you have the cash to pay someone else to deal with it, that is certainly easier.

I'll do a 3 point turn if I have to rather than letting it make that noise, turning into parking spaces, driveway, roundabout and multi level parking garage. I try not to jerk it all the way over
