Wait so are you saying I will still have a problem of i replace this clip? Where can I find a clip like this one? And can I take that bearing out from here? Feels like it's got some play..

Is the bearing in the picture pressed from the inside of the case or can I remove it while I have that housing off?

You have the tail housing off? You're done, remove the old clip, put on the new split clamp.
