Default Wheel Hub Question

2001 Dodge Ram 1500 2wd with a 360

I have a 8 lug dana 70 laying around and was wanting to put it under my 1500. Question is: Does anyone know if it is possible to fit the hubs from a 2wd 2500 on the front of my truck so that I could have 8 lug wheels all the way around? I'll make the brakes and everything else work. I know the upper control arms are the same. If I had to I'll replace the lower arms and the spindles. I was just curious if this had been done

I *think* the spindles are larger diameter on the heavier trucks.

Also, the rear springs are wider on the heavier trucks, so, will need to transfer the spring perches too.

so do you think the coil springs are the same diameter? Also on the lower control arms do you think that the spacing is the same. I wish I could find somewhere that had the specs and sizes of the spindles

I am not sure on the 2 wheel drive fellers...... You may have to measure everything out, and find another truck to compare with.
