My old coil springs are good, but i figure they are getting tired. I couldn't imagine salvage yard ones being in any better shape. Im thinking that I will hold off on both for now, reuse my old springs and save the cash. The posi lock can be installed after the fact.

So this project is becoming a major pain in my ***. My rebuilt dana 44 is sitting on the floor all painted nice and I am still trying to get my old one out. Every single control arm bolt is frozen in the bushings. I am giving up and ordering new control arms. My question is about the bolts. I found the moog kit for the lower control arm cam bolt, but what about the other 6 bolts? no one seems to sell a kit, or are they something I can go to the hardware store and get? I am not able to get one out in one piece so I don't have anything to reference off of.

You can ballpark the measurements from the ones you destroy. Just go to Lowes, or Home Depot, or Fastenal. They will have them on the shelf.

I think you can get new bushings for the control arms..... Just cut the old ones out with a torch. (do it outside, it's a stinky process. )

I've already ordered a new set of arms. I didn't know if those were special bolts or not like the cam bolts. I was hoping someone might know the size and length.

Also, does anyone know what size sway bar I would have, trying to order new bushings and they have a million different sizes, I don't have a caliper or I would measure it...

Get a build sheet for your truck from here. Click on the 'equipment listing' link on the left, then, in the new window that pops up, feed it your vin, and it will tell you everything you wanna know.

Are bolt dimensions listed in the service manual???

I looked for the bolt dimensions. I could only find torque specs. I think I should be able to match it up pretty close at the hardware store. The build sheet didnt tell me anything about my sway bar, only that I had one.

It didn't tell you what size?????? It should have.... Maybe I just got lucky on mine.

Might be able to rent/borrow calipers from the parts store?
