Ok so here's the deal I've got a 1998 dodge ram 1500 4x4 with the auto tranny I've just began a rebuild on a 5.2 I've got will be stroking, boring, aluminum heads ,comp cam, and custom intake well the stock transmission in the truck now is starting to get weak so when I replace it I'd like to replace with something that will hold up with the new motor "when it goes in" so I'm looking for some options here what would be a good compatible tranny to slide in or maybe some good rebuild ideas for stock

Click on the dodge tab and then select 46rh/46re. You have the 46re. I'd go with level 3 mega viper or higher. Can get both built trannys and rebuild kits.
