Default 2001 RAM 1500 5.9 Noisy warm up question

Hi, I got a 2001 ram 1500 5.9 gas 2W that makes this loud indescribable noise while warming up. Is it normal? I know my 02 4.7 durango does it too but not this loud. It goes away after a couple minutes of driving or by reving it like on the 1st vid. Any tips will be greatly appretiated. Thanks
From engine bay

From inside the truck

Thanks again.

I would take the belt off then try it . If the noise is gone it is something the belt drives . Spin the alternator by hand . It should not make any noise.

I just trimed the 1st vid it was a little bit too long. The noise goes away after a minute. Im going to replace the belt, sparks and wires soon. Thanks for your input.

You are aware that the fan clutch stays fully engaged for a bit then releases don't you? Hard to tell from the video but start the truck and keep the rpm at around 1500-2000, It will take around 15-30 seconds or so until you hear it release. Is this what you are hearing? Release time may vary with temp and condition of the clutch.

I believe its the fan clutch, it sounds like a jet taking off when I rev it and the fan is always turning it never stops. I was thinking about changing it but they are big $$. So after hours of reading not to go with aftermarket.. I decided to just same me some cash and install an E-fan instead.. So I will concentrate my next couple days reading about it..

Thanks.
BTW has anyone reading this done the E-fan mod??

Many aftermarket electric fans flow LESS air than the stock fan, therefore, unless one gets a fan that is known for flowing a lot of air there is no point to change it.

All I know is that the efan mod will eliminate the fan clutch, blade and eliminate some stress from the engine and water pump..

Well since the engines were designed to handle the "stress" put on it by the fan and power of the exploding gas in the cylinders and the extra weight of a trailer etc and the engine and water pump will typically go for more than 100,000 miles before needing any attention, it seems illogical to install an electric fan that will flow less air than a stock one will . That's similar logic to exchanging the entire engine for another one so it's other parts don't wear out . Robbing Peter to pay Paul isn't practical.
