So all I want to do is level my truck, "97 dodge ram 1500 sport" and today I took a look at the rear suspension and noticed...hmmm looks like there is already like 3 inch blocks or something under the leaf springs......is this a stock product? My build sheet from dodge does say us has "heavy duty front and rear suspension "
Just got the money to put towards a kit and I am now hesitant because of this... what could it be ... I'll post a picture !:icon_confused.

i hope those are not stock.

 

But there is nothing special in the front from what i cam see, no blocks over the coils...it still has a slight "foward lean" to it.....

Those are stock. Half ton trucks got 3" or so blocks, 3/4 and 1 ton trucks got 5" blocks. Why they would do that from the factory is beyond me..... Axle hop anyone?
