just nought the truck, shifts great and runs decent, when in idle the tach will slightly bounce not much but enough to make me worry oil pressure is good has good throttle response did full tune up and cleaned the throttle body as well. could the coil cause this, seems like its lacking power and the truck only has 141000 miles on it, any takers a responsre would be appreciTED

 

Could be any number of things. Might be a clogging cat, which would also partially explain your lack of power.....

Has the plenum been dealt with? If not, might wanna consider that, and do timing chain and gears while you are at it. (that was one of the BEST things I did for my 96.... got back a lot of the lost power.)
