Default rear brake adjuster problem

Went to replace my rear brakes on my 1994 1500 4x4, once inside I discovered that the previous owner had almost nothing correct. Shoes were backwards, some springs missing, and the adjuster levers had parts from the right and left sides mixed up.
After trying to sort out and put back together I'm not totally confident that the adjuster levers are the correct ones for the pickup. So what I need are pictures of both right and left sides of the rear brakes, with attention directed to the adjuster arms (if possible with the axles removed). Thank you in advance.

Download the service manual, they are in there, IIRC.

Check Figure 1, on page 5-61. It shows a typical drum brake. Both side will look pretty much the same, kind of a mirror image of each other. There is also the procedure for servicing the drum brakes. Once you figure out one side, the other side will be easy.

Ok, is it normal for the driver side park brake lever to be on the primary shoe (front) side ?

I always thought they went on the rear shoe? Question becomes, does the self-adjuster actually WORK that way?? Turning the star wheel the right direction?

I thought the same (hence my confusion), but not the case on my truck. So the adjuster arm sits on the shoe upside down which I can see that's not going to work.

Can anyone tell me which side (front or back) the parking brake hangs from on the driver side of a 4x4 ram 1500? Or which side the cable enters the vacuum plate will also help. Thanks.
