dodgeparts.com
has anyone heard of this website? www.dodgeparts.com. i was searching around the web for a bumper fix place (i hit a speed sign.. don't ask). i don't want to take it to the local shop as they want 801 for the fix. insurance will cover all but 500. i am convinced i could do it for under that 500 magic number.
so.. if anyone has used it or knows someone that has.. pleas respond. thanks. i don't just want to order from a random company that nobody has heard of. seems like this would be a good place to ask.

I haven't heard of that one, but I came across www.chryslerpartsdirect.com, and it seems like the real deal.
I've heard of it. I've never ordered from them though.
I have ordered from www.chryslerpartsdirect.com though, and they have excellent service.
I've also ordered from www.gmpartsdirect.com, for my Pontiacs. They have decent service, but it is a bit slow at times.

I've used www.dodgeparts.com several times for parts for my Neon. Always had great rates, never head problems with shipping.
Best of luck!

thanks radar.
i did some research and found i could do the fix for $451 (i don't suggest running into speed signs) and a bill of $106.95 for the pole. see insurance ductible of $500. is my time worth the $50 to have a local shop do it, or spend a weekend fixing it after getting parts. oh the choice i must make..

Check ebay, I'm sure you can get bumpers a whole lot cheaper on there.

If that link works, there is a bumper with plastic for about $129 + $85 for shipping. If the link doesn't work just go to ebaymotors.com and search for "dodge ram bumper". Much cheaper than what you are looking to pay.
