Default New wheels

Looking at getting some new wheels. I have 15" on there now. Do all 15" rims fit this truck? I'm looking at the Mickey Thompson Classic II. Will these fit in 15" or do I need to go 16"? If I can stay 15" then I could keep the tires on there until they wear out, then buy new ones. Plus, I'm running 12.50's. Do I need to get them 10" wide? 5X5.5 lug pattern right? What backspacing do I need? The tires stick out about 3" to 4" on either side. I'd like for it to stay that way. Thanks for the help and sorry for so many questions.

I put 15 x 10's on mine and they rubbed the calipers bad. The only way I got them to work was to grind material off the calipers, even then they are extremely close. I think I might sell the 15's and go back to 16's.

It would also depend on what year your truck is. Some of the older 2nd gens have smaller brakes on them. I don't know what year they went with bigger rotors for sure but that would be something to check into. Hopefully someone else on here knows which year they went bigger on the calipers. I would guess 98 since that is when the interior changed but I don't know for sure.

Mine's a '96. Any ideas on the change in brake size?

I believe they went to the larger rotors in 2000. The 15s rubbing affected all 2nd gen Rams though, and varies by rim manufacturer.
