Default Speaker Recommendations

I'm looking for a new set of door speakers (6"×9") for my 98 ram. Can anyone recommend a good pair for under $100. Mainly they need to be LOUD but i do care about sound quality too.

Anything over stock is going to be an upgrade. Even a cheap set of $30 speakers.

Search my forum threads, I did a write on a full kit install from an old infinity system. I went with Pioneer A-series stuff, sounds exceptional for the price! All driven by an amp.

Most of these I've seen have been switched to 6.5" speakers with an adapter bracket since there aren't many 6x9" speakers that will fit. I have components in mine, but if you don't want to add an amp they wouldn't be an option. Having used a ton of speakers over the years, Alpine have become my go to speakers if I'm looking for something for a good price.
