This is my first time on a forum page, a few months ago I noticed that my fuel gauge would go on Empty even if I had a full tank of gas and when I put it in drive and stepped on the gas, it would kind of hesitate and sputter, I am going to replace the fuel pump bcos I assume it's something I was going to replace anyways. Last week I was driving to work and the motor kind of shut off and now it will crank but it won't turn over, would anyone know what might be my problem?


Truck has 232,000 miles and an unknown mantainence record

 

With that many miles it could be plenty of things. Listen and see if you hear the fuel pump charge the system when you first turn the key to on. Might want to read the codes if any also.

 

And check for spark.

Way too many possibilities here.
