Default $245 a Pair, GTR Gen3 LED 9007 Bulb Upgrade for Reflectors!

GTR Lighting Gen3 9007 LED headlight bulbs, with Lifetime Warranty

Okay I've been looking around at the LED bulbs and popped in to a stereo shop I've never been to before. Audio Northwest in Olympia, WA. They quoted me $200 pair over the phone and I thought it was outrageously overpriced but I just had to go see how special these bulbs are and I didn't think they would be.

These bulbs didn't look anything like what I've seen on Ebay, they had these tiny little LEDS and I wasn't sure they were very good at all as I've used other LED bulbs and HID kits in the past and they just flood the road and blind other drivers with light and no focus.

He said these LEDS are designed to mimic a halogen bulb and meant for use in old reflector type housings with identical focus. I decided to go ahead and buy them.
Let me tell you these are no joke! They are absolutely amazing and worth every penny of $245. The focus is exactly the same as a halogen bulb but 3X the brightness with a crisp clean white light.

The LEDs are placed in the same exact spot as the filaments on a halogen bulb.

Hey Beeker,
I have been looking at these same bulbs among all the rest of leds.
How much work putting in being they are plug and play.
I have a 1995 ram and i have a bezel on the back of the halogen bulb to keep it in place do you have to modify it? The beam pattern is the same but brighter for sure?
How about the high beam is it go just as far as stock halogen. I have been watching a lot of videos and that some say it does not go as far as stock but pretty close. also being the latest version does not have a fan do you see this as problem.

Hey Ricky, yes they are plug and play. No wire harnesses needed, they are 25watt bulbs which is way less than the 55watt halogen. Install is pretty easy, you may need to remove battery on the driver side tho if you can't get your hand in there. To get the retainer ring on you need to twist and unlock the socket, then slide it off, then put the retainer ring over the bulb and then put the socket back on the bulb. It's very easy.

The beam pattern is exactly the same as stock halogen bulb just brighter.

The high beam in a quad headlight setup is also same exact beam as stock halogens high beams but it is much brighter and DOES goes farther. The light being 6000k is also more reflective on signs and objects.

In a 2 headlight setup where a single bulb is used for both high and low beam is where some say the high beams are not much more than the low beams. But the low beams being very bright.

Pics will be posted soon.

245 for two bulbs!!!!???
better shoot frickin lasers for that price.

I replaced halogen driving lights with LEDs since I heard so much about them. They are half as bright. I'll be going back to real lights.

LOL! They are stupid expensive! I've had some 3 sided COB leds and they were crazy bright but no focus and blinded other drivers. These GTR Gen3 are like nothing else. They are seriously good, high precision, very well engineered. Exact same focus and very bright! Are you using stock headlight reflectors or aftermarket projectors? Gen 3s are best for stock reflectors, HID is best for projectors.

OK lets see the pics already.

They are hideously expensive but if you compare it to a sport headlight conversion it might make sense to some, assuming you are just interested in light output.

Let's see some GOOD pics! Not some bad cell phone ones with both of the new lights in so you cant see the difference. One new(on one side) and one old!

And no long exposure or a shot against a wall 20' away to make them look brighter than they are.

Updated first post with photos, videos are uploading. The GTR LEDs are at least 2X brighter with same beam pattern. These headlights don't blind other drivers.
