I'm looking to buy a rebuilt ECU. I have 8544AB. There is a rebuilt 8544AD available that has a better warranty than an AB, and says it is compatible with AB.

Is there any reason to take one over the other?

It's just an updated version. Programming will be slightly different, that's it.
