Default Fuel Pump Part Number

Hello

Wanted to see if I could get some help with a fuel pump number. I have a '96 1500 Sport and the fuel pump went bad. I dropped the tank and pulled the pump assembly did an inspection and didn't find any broken wires or lines so I want to change the pump, but just the pump. I do not feel I need to replace the entre assembly for $200+ when the only problem is the pump. At the local parts place all they have listed is the assembly. Does anyone have a part number for the pump only?

Thanks

Not many folks sell 'just' the pump itself. You are more likely to find it from aftermarket suppliers that deal with performance pumps. Walbro, et. al.

Also, replacing the entire assembly gets you a new filter, and regulator as well.

It's best to replace the whole assembly anyway. The level sensors can go bad, the plastic can also crack and cause a evap leak. Best to just replace it.
