Default Where does this ground wire go to?

This has been disconnected for a while I think. Looks like it came from under the battery somewhere. I have a head the size of an aliens, and I can't get under there to see....

Where does it come from truck gods?

Thanks

It goes to the battery. It's supposed to be connected to the negative bundle at the battery on stock terminals. Yours are aftermarket so someone left it off, stupidly.

Yes, he is correct. It goes to the ground terminal on the battery.

Wow, thanks for the help....

So I've been driving it like this for the last 8 years. Why has that not negatively affected the truck?

Because there are numerous other ground paths. That's just one.
