97 1500 4wd front brake job

I put Wagner Thermoquiet pads on our 95. They work very well. The problem seems to be not enough rear brake. Swap out the wheel cylinders for 1 1/16" wheel cylinders from a 1 ton. Dorman part #W79767 or AC Delco #18E112. They're $6 each on Rock Auto. It made a huge difference in stopping on our 95.

Replacing the calipers with the LD 3/4 ton units is a nice upgrade as well.
