Dont get on here as much as I'd like but figured this is where I'd come for some advice. I've got a 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 Ext Cab 4x4 with the 5.9 Magnum. I've come to here a light click whenever I turn the steering wheel and a more serious clunk when I make a faster turn. This is play in the upper u-joint on the steering shaft but not sure if that is the source. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

 

Do a search on the Rock Solid Ram Steering fix.

The clicking may be the turnsignal switch auto-cancel thingy, or, it might be the clockspring..... or any of a number of other things.... Does everything on the steering wheel work?

 

Yes everything seems to work at this point. I'll have to take a look at the rock solid ram steering fix. Hopefully it may be the answer to my problems😁 Thanks for pointing me in the right direction
