Thanks for the response, determining if your issue is electrical or fuel can be a tough one. Did you get any new codes sent?

Have you checked fuel pressure? Check that and compression to verify then look into the electronics.

Default Found it.

I wish I had checked compression first. It would have saved a lot of money. Compression on every cylinder is hitting at 80 lbs. I am guessing verified by a mechanic friend that it has jumped time by a notch or 2. That would cause the valves to open as the compression is building meaning loss of pressure not firing properly and so forth. Next weekend I am changing the timing chain and gears and hopefully that will fix it. Give me your feedback and let me know what you think.

Certainly cant hurt.

Did you try a wet test as well? Did it change anything?

Default Timing

Just checked the timing chain and gears. It's in time so what is left to cause compression of80 to 85 lbs? Rings?

Rings or valves... Maybe both. Leakdown test would give you a better idea.

Default Back to the original problem

Ok. My original problem was a bad miss. Would bad rings cause a miss or just loss of power? I don't want to get sidetracked by other issues until I fins the miss. I followed the loss of compression thinking it might be out of time but since it's in time thats nor it. Any other ideas?

Low compression will give you a miss. Could try doing the compression test again, dry first, then wet, see what the numbers do.
