Lower ORE Rear?
Could I level my 01 ORE by removing the additional leaf in the rear or by swapping in the spring pack from a non ORE truck? Or, is a shorter block available that would lower the rear (I've looked, but haven't found one)? Maybe leveling the truck by lowering the rear is a horrible idea, but I thought it might be a cheaper alternative to buying all of the parts I would need to correctly level the truck by raising the front end. I have 285/70/17 tires now and am not interested in going much bigger (maybe some 285/75/17s). Thanks!
Your ORE needs leveled? My 01 is all factory suspension to my knowledge and I'd be willing to bet that if I sat a 4ft level on the bed rail it would read square. Looks like it sits perfectly level to my eye.
Not trying to be insulting, just curious. Have you swapped to non-ore springs in the front or anything?

No offense taken. It appears to have a rake to my un-calibrated eye. The suspension is stock as far as I know, but I have only owned the truck for not quite two years. It isn't a big deal, and there a certainly things the truck needs worse than being level. I was just thinking.
Since starting this tread I have found 1-2" drop shackles that would probably do the job for about $30-$50. I may consider those as an option versus a spring pack swap in the future. Thanks for the replies!
