Default 1997 Dodge Ram Brakes

About 3 weeks ago I bought a new to me 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 ext cab with a 5.2. I bought the truck with a little over 122k miles. The truck has a 2 to 3 inch suspension lift and 305R70 16 tires. They rub a little just before full lock. The outside of the truck has zero rust and just minor dents. The driver side seat is a little worn but it's a 20 year old truck. Since I bought it I've been slowly tearing into things to make sure all fluids are fresh.

The front brakes started grinding on the way home from work today so I purchased some rotors and pads from Napa. The steering box is a little loose but everything else seems good. Front end components are something I've never really worked on before. Is there anything else I should inspect while I have the front tires off?
