well as I was driving her today, I did notice that the front brakes are grabbing pretty good also, could that be a master cylinder going bad ? and I disconnected the battery to reset the trouble ABS light on the dash and it went out....til I hit the brakes good again then it was back on, I was thinking along with you till this morning about the locking of the rears because I am empty, but after feeling that the fronts are doing the same except they have the load of the engine above them, I am thinking that the whole braking system is bad

That could be either the master cylinder or could be one of the brake hoses collapsed.
