1995 ram diesel. Under front frame rail beneath radiator is a wire harness running from side to side. In the drivers side portion of the harness is a 3 prong female connector hanging out of harness. Is this for fog/running lite hookup??
If it is can anyone tell me where the dashboard end of this harness is located? I am looking to hookup two fog lites and a switch to operate the lites.

 

The fog lamp switch goes in the dash next to where the O/D Off button hangs out. (if you have an auto trans...) The connector *should* be back in there somewhere, but, rumor has it, they hid it pretty well.

No Automatic, it is 5sp. standard trans.
Do you have any idea if the female 3 prong plug under the front frame rail is for the fog lites? It has 3 prongs in it and that makes me question that it is probably not for lites. I would think 2 prongs.
I suspect I'll just have to mount switch and run wires myself. Just thought it would be slick to use factory wiring if there is any.

 

I think the fog lite connector is basically under the middle of the radiator, there was a pic around here somewhere of it, but, given photobuckets latest shenanigans, it's probably gone now too....

If you don't have the factory service manual for your truck yet, get one from here. Check the wiring diagrams, and compare wire colors on your mystery connector.
