Exclamation External Voltage Regulator + Tranny LIMP mode

My PCM is dead ( burned diode )

I will install a external voltage regulator for my alternator Field.

but, since my PCM is dead, my tranny won't shift into o/d.

Do you think the voltage regulator will solve my transmission problem ?

What is the voltage of the blue wire ? ( GEN SOURCE ) Is it 12V ?

thank you

Dark blue wire from alt should be whatever voltage it is putting out. If it is working properly, should be 14-15 volts, if the engine isn't running, should be battery voltage.
