Seatbelts won't lock when I pull them.

FYI just a quick pull isn't enough to see if they are locking, you have to be moving .. get the truck up to about 30mph ( 48 KPH )
and hit the brakes hard and they should lock up
That's also a trick to test, thanks!
Today I got some more information from my "Dodge dealer" about the system. It works when you have impact. A switch (two metal blocks) will be activated and tighten the seatbelt.
Each seatbelt (sides) have this system. So you can't force it. But indeed what you say, it's worth to try when I got some speed!

Excuses for my English ;-)

Can anyone confirm this?

Maybe there are different systems? Mine won't, only the ones build in the chairs. They have the same system as the most European cars.

I can confirm it now, my '97 need speed to lock the seatbelts. I need a speed about 18 or 20 mph...hit the brakes hard and the seatbelt press me back in the chair. Mysterie solved. Thanks for all advice!!
