ok I having issues I rebuilding the 4x4 double cardan drive shaft
and I need that dust seal that black rubber piece
well dodge doesn't sell it
parts store cant get it
mister transmission cant get it


where you guys get it from napa or carquest?

 

If you're talking about the rubber seal at the end of the axle by the hub, then you're out of luck. It was something that came factory and nobody ever made it again. It's not really needed.

Or do you mean the rubber boot for the slip yoke on the front drive shaft near the double cardon joint? Those should be readily available aftermarket.

I can not seem to get it form any parts store nore a part number Moog doesn't have it I guess as my parts store cant get it.. and dodge just wants to sell a new section or something

 

I know some folks offer rebuild kits for those, do they not come with the seal?

 

when you buy the moog precision parts the Ball Kit which is that one you press in centre.. you get that ball and the seal and that's $100 bucks.. but no outter seal... Dodge cant get it they told me... the one dodge place gave me couple places to try and ill try Napa but more then likely I gotta order from usa
